It was a beautiful sunny day here in the metro St. John’s area… just the kind of day that makes you feel great to be alive. It makes it even easier to be turning 40 in 39 days when you fill that day with things that make you smile.
• Started the day with a powerful meditation… my intention for the day is to be grateful for all the abundance in my life.
• Shared stories of courage with another entrepreneur and former colleague.
• Received three referrals for business opportunities.
• Played tourist with my ‘little brother’ from Ottawa who has convinced me to help him celebrate his 29th birthday there. This included brunch with my kids and a photo shoot on Signal Hill.
• Walked (instead of driving) to the grocery store (just a few minutes down the road) to feel the wind in my hair – after a year of wearing it long and straight, it still gets me a little giddy when it whips all around!
• Savoured a glass of wine for dinner. Even when dining for one, I enjoy making it special.
• Reviewed a recent keynote video... still not used to seeing myself on the big screen – but getting there!
• Telephone blitz about the upcoming events in St. John’s. Talking always makes me smile! This also involved reconnecting with some old friends which is always nice.
• Booked a couple of dates… no need for more detail at this point in time. Suffice to say, I have room for possibility in my calendar this week!
• Cuddled with Cornflake and read before bed.
