As a Professional Motivator my job is to pump people up. My job is to get them excited about what is possible. I help them define and execute their vision of success. Tonight, I led a group through the first of a 4-part workshop. What is interesting to me is that, as I teach them to embrace their potential, that is exactly what I am doing myself. While I am there to pump them up, I am getting pumped myself!
I would like to acknowledge those who came tonight for demonstrating their commitment to themselves. They have chosen to put their own oxygen masks on first so they can better serve the world. Look out! How they are BEING will change. What they are DOING will change. And what they will HAVE will change. Some change will be significant; some, only slight. The first step is the hardest and they did it tonight.
Wait a minute… this blog is supposed to be about me and how I am celebrating each day en route to my 40th birthday. Well, what I wrote about the workshop participants I could have easily said about myself. I am BEING different. I am DOING different things. And I HAVE different outcomes. Some change has been significant; some, only slight. The first step is the hardest and I did it tonight.
Thank you to those who shared in this night… it was a special one and it was made that much more special because you were a part of it. Thank YOU for getting me pumped!!
