I’ve got lots to do while I count the days to my fortieth birthday. Life can sure get busy so my intention is to ensure that I have as much fun doing what I’ve got to do as possible. The focus is not just on the to-do list but on how I am BEING while I’m checking off my list. Here’s a sampling of today’s excitement:
• Bought two new pairs of jeans. It only took me two stores and 10 pairs, but I got them AND only one pair needs significant hemming.
• Surprised my mother, the ultimate FREE (for me) seamstress at her workplace and treated her to lunch. Really, it was MY pleasure.
• Worked, worked, worked on a few projects to meet my self-imposed deadlines and I am quite pleased with the results.
• Received numerous positive comments from people who attended my information session last night. Lots of interest generating for the workshop that starts next Tuesday. Everyone is so kind.
• Shared my thoughts on PROGRESS in my other blog, Lessons Learned.
• Did I mention I got new jeans??? Man, that satisfaction can last me days!!
• Got tickets for a HYPNOSIS show on April 28th … I have tickets to sell also. Bringing the talent of my new friend Gary Summers to as many people as possible.
• Enjoyed lovely banter with all of the people I met today – at the mall, at the bank, at Starbucks, on the phone, and on-line.
Life is so great when you are focused on being happy. (I think other people can tell, too! ;)
